The Story Behind The Little Peacock
My name is Xu, but you can call me “Chou,” like the sweet vegetable whose name is pronounced in French. After seven years in France and five years of therapy, I learned to recognize and embrace my identity as a woman, and more specifically as a Chinese woman. This journey, although complex, allowed me to come out of the shadows and dare to show the world who I really am.
Since childhood, beauty has sparked my curiosity and fueled my creative spirit. I remember the days spent making unique jewelry and outfits for my Barbie, each creation an expression of my love for elegance and art. Losing this doll was like losing a childhood friend who had shared my first steps in the world of creation.
As I grew up, I realized how much of an inspiration my Chinese heritage was. China, with its rich history and deep-rooted culture, is a treasure trove of art and craftsmanship. Jewelry and silk have always been symbols of beauty and refinement, even through historical upheavals.
Today, with Le Petit Paon , I want to introduce you to this unique heritage through my eyes. I personally choose each product, each piece of jewelry and each piece of silk, looking for what can not only enhance your style, but also tell a story of grace, culture and authenticity.

Before shipping, our on-site team carefully inspects each item and takes a photo to ensure it is perfectly packaged. Delivery usually takes between 7 and 10 days.
